How much does it cost to join the club?

ANSWER. Membership in Toastmasters is open to all over 18 years of age. The initial membership cost is $20 which covers the cost of registering with the worldwide office and the start-up kit you will receive. If you have joined a Toastmasters club in the past, then this fee is waived. Recurring monthly dues are paid quarterly or semi-annually, depending on the club. Toastmasters Headquarters requires monthly dues of $4.50, but your local club may include a nominal monthly charge to cover administrative costs like ribbons, facility rental, etc. Compare that to public speaking courses that can cost $1500 to $2000.
