The meetings seem so formal. Why is that?

ANSWER. Toastmaster meetings have the same set-up for each meeting so that club members can get used to learning the protocols associated with running a meeting. Once you have attended a few meetings, it doesn’t seem formal at all, but rather it provides a structure to the meetings so that each member can participate. An added benefit is that it helps you learn how to effectively conduct meetings at work and introduce other speakers.
